About this job
We are seeking a Clinical Service Consultant who will be responsible for day to day account management and retention of the assigned Strategic Account Executive customers. You will be assisting account management leadership in ensuring customer satisfaction, retention, contract renewal, revenue maintenance, ongoing evaluation and design of a customer's benefit plans, and strategy development, through the relationships established with customer organization. You will be engaging in problem solving to ensure the match between customer's core needs and UMR, You will also be identifying negative service trends and escalating/communicating as appropriate.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provides support to implementation and renewal processes as necessary.
- Assist assigned SAEs in the updating of internal databases, report requests, maintaining file records, reviewing and tracking customer documents, accepting and responding to calls when Strategic Account Executives are unavailable, and other issues as necessary.
- Serves as information resource to customers, sales support, marketing, account management leadership and management regarding sales activity and ongoing operations.
- Responds effectively to customer and broker needs or requests by providing information, service, or by referring customers to appropriate staff.
- Assists in training and mentoring new Client Services Consultants as needed.
- Participates in benefit fairs or enrollment meetings as needed.
- Participates in or represents account management in special projects.
- Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships both internally and externally.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Performs other duties as required.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED.
- 2+ years of Account Management, Client Services, or Sales Support experience.
- 1+ year of Group Health Insurance experience.
- Previous experience creating materials for presentations.
- Previous work experience using Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint in day-to-day duties.
- Availability for day travel up to 25% of the time to and from area hospitals in TN/AR.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree.
