The Senior Financial Analyst will support Benefit Operations reporting and consolidations.


 


Primary Responsibilities:



  • Oversee the SG&A budgeting, forecasting and analysis process for UnitedHealth Care business units

  • Create financial models and perform analysis for business leaders and finance management

  • Conduct monthly variance analysis and reporting for assigned business units

  • Provide consultation to business owners on financial matters and FTE management

  • Align hierarchies and related budgets as required to maintain accurate reporting

  • Support business owners in the development of cost benefit analyses

  • Identify and implement process improvements

Requirements

Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent

  • 2+ years of financial and/or accounting experience

  • Intermediate skills in MS Excel and other MS Office products

Preferred Qualifications:



  • Previous experience with Hyperion Essbase, Planning and PeopleSoft Financials
