Serve as initial point
of contact for technical support calls received by phone, e-mail or other
method. This is includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and
upgrading all tablet hardware and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Provide quality support to end users with high degree of customer satisfaction,
technical knowledge and timeliness either by resolving the issue or by
delegating and coordinating efforts with other Hawkeye IT staff. Find solutions
and/or workarounds for issues found by end users and make intelligent decisions
to help resolve their issues.



Primary Responsibilities:



  • Perform a variety of system
    problem analysis and monitoring tasks.
  • Talk to users and understand
    their issues and questions; log and track issues related to Tablet
    systems; Find root cause of the problem and try to solve it; Make
    intelligent decisions on solutions/workarounds to let the user do their
    day to day work; Act as liaison between users and development team to
    communicate the problem resolution to users.
  • Replicate and resolve end-user
    issues in the hardware environment (Triage).
  • Participate in the preparation
    of training material and documentation for Support use; conduct periodic
    inventory maintenance on all equipment, track user problem trends.
  • Create and distribute network
    related information to users, such as new account information; as well as,
    activating and deactivating user accounts.
  • Assist with installation and
    maintenance of tablet computers. Assist in shipping tablet computers to
    end users.
  • Assist with installation and
    troubleshooting of custom built tablet application.
  • All other tasks as assigned.
  • Must be able to work with users
    at all levels of skills and abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple
    priorities and demands on a daily basis.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree or High
    School Diploma/GED with 1+ years of IT helpdesk experience
  • Must be willing to work a
    flexible eight hour schedule M - F between 9am & 8:30pm, with one
    Saturday a month
  • 1+ year experience in
    Information Systems or Technical Support
  • 1+ year experience
    troubleshooting computer hardware and software
  • Experience with MS Office applications
  • Experience working with a
    helpdesk ticketing systems
  • Experience with Windows 7
  • Basic SQL Knowledge
