Primary
Responsibilities:
- Understand
the UnitedHealth Group financial process and become an active participant
in the management of its financials. - Analyze
and report on financials and partner with senior leaders to
collaboratively manage budgets. - Assist
with periodic forecast and budget creation for business leadership. - Forecast
staffing needs and partner with project managers, subject matter experts
and leadership to develop workforce tools -experience with Activity-Based
costing a plus. - Collaborate
with segment finance to understand and demonstrate complex concepts in
ways that lead to understanding by a variety of audiences. - Conduct
cost-benefit analysis, calculate cost impact, summarize and present to a
larger audience. - Candidate
will support 10+ Health Plans - Candidate
should have excellent communication skills - Adhoc
analytics and reporting as needed.

Requirements
Required
Qualifications:
Bachelor's
degree in Accounting or Finance (Finance is preferred)4+
years of financial management experienceStrong
current proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Formulas, pivot tables, basic
macros)Exceptional
financial acumen and P&L management skills and experience; ready to provide
examples during an interviewProven
experience driving business performance in a high growth environmentExperience
anticipating accounting, financial reporting, forecasting, and operational
issues, assessing their implications, and developing and implementing appropriate
action planExperience
working collaboratively with others in a matrix environment to drive
revenue enhancement and expense management initiatives.
