As a Senior Treasury Analyst, you will work with the Treasury team to support global operations and projects in the following areas: cash management, capital markets, domestic and international banking, foreign exchange trading and hedging, and pension and trust investments. These projects help our global internal business partners achieve their goals and are reflected on the Company's balance sheet and income statement. Your career as a Senior Treasury Analyst at Pitney Bowes will expose you to capital structure planning, financing, asset management, currency and interest rate hedging, liquidity management, interest expense forecasting, and banking, as well as direct day-to-day capital investment and treasury operations across the enterprise. This position is located in Stamford, Ct.

The Job

We seek a business astute, financially knowledgeable professional who will proactively engage with his/her peers in the business units, Controllership, Tax, Legal, HR, and Corporate Strategy and Business Development groups. This person will be a contributor to activities across the department, will likely support several Directors or Managers, and may oversee Analysts at any given time.



Operations: Support key global operations including netting, cash pooling and investments, intercompany loans, pension and benefits contributions, interest payments, financial statement preparation associated with such activities and other operations utilizing various global Treasury Management systems in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Transactions: Support managers / directors in analyzing and formulating recommendations regarding the debt portfolio, share repurchases, dividends and other capital allocation decisions in partnership with our international subsidiaries and other internal constituents.

Financial Modeling: Utilize financial models to analyze corporate impact of strategic initiatives and capital structure alternatives; and create and maintain forecasting and budgeting scenarios incorporating interest rate, currency rate, cash and pension assumptions.

Investments: Support investment analysis and development of strategies related to our global pension and other corporate assets.

Additional duties as required

The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate leadership, strong project management skills, and an ability to work effectively in a team environment. The person should be comfortable with rigorous analytical modeling and have a strong foundation in finance, economics, and investment principles. Attention to detail and successful execution of daily operations are critical and necessary for success in this role.
Qualification


BA in economics, finance or accounting, MBA considered

2-3 years of experience in Treasury, Corporate Finance, or Investment Management. Accounting and/or pension experience a plus.

Financial modeling, problem solving and project management experience; demonstrable leadership skills and ability/experience in influencing others; strong oral and written communication skills, including an ability to listen and to articulate complex concepts in a manner that is audience appropriate.

Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized; comfortable working in a matrixed environment.

Knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
