Primary Responsibilities:

 

Collaborate with Community Organizations and other state and government agencies to enroll eligible individuals into UnitedHealthcare Government Programs

Perform Community Marketing and Outreach to promote UnitedHealthcare Government Programs

Offer ongoing member education and member servicing.

Maintain accurate records for reporting purposes.

Accountability for meeting monthly targets for applications received

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required

Two year degree or proven customer service experience in a health related field preferred

Prior Social Service/Medicaid experience or two years of professional experience with one year in a sales related or community capacity.

Familiar with New York State Medicaid/Child Health Plus programs and the needs of low-income populations.

Certified Application Counselor certification highly desired

Community marketing experience

Bi-lingual candidates preferred

Valid driver's license in New York and a dependable, insured vehicle required.

Interact effectively with the Medicaid population and within the corporate environment.

Must possess good writing and communication skills. Be motivated and have an enthusiastic personality.

Self-starter with the ability to work independently.

Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
