Job Description
Leadership position that blends managing teams of people, financial analysis, and analytic rigor for Fortune 500 company in the Salt Lake valley. Position will require results driven, ambitious individual who can quickly get up to speed and contribute to significant strategic discussions. Opportunity to advance is present for smart and effective individuals who are able to effectively influence site results.

Key Responsibilities
Achieve Efficiencies and Drive Process Improvements
• Conduct complex data analysis on performance trends to support removing waste from processes, increasing customer satisfaction, and increasing agent satisfaction.
• Provide creative data solutions to using advanced analytical techniques using both internal and external data sources.
• Manage the full analytical cycle including: understanding business requirements, building a dataset, and eventually reporting the results
• Candidate must be able to explain analytical results in a clear, concise, and effective manner.
• Candidate must demonstrate ability to work independently on multiple projects with cross functional teams.

People / Department Support
• Provide continued support to staff and department through analytical or project management assistance.
• Manage a small group of individuals, driving results through this team. Help them reach their potential through effective goal setting, coaching, and honest and direct feedback.
• Provide training and education to support the development of direct reports and other staff members.
• Demonstrate collaboration with teams and departments outside of current business unit.

Volunteerism / Community
• Provide support to and assist in driving our community presence through volunteer initiatives. Act as the lead in many instances and assist in driving support internally.

Qualifications

Undergrad required with preference given to degree in economics, statistics, mathematics, or other quantitative fields. Masters degree is a strong plus but is not required.
Lean and or Six Sigma background preferred but not required.
Strong SQL and Excel skills required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
Experience with SAS software in UNIX or PC environments preferred but not required.
Professional experience with background in analysis and driving process improvements preferred.
