Assemblers (Field Service) - Full-time / Part-time

A company located in Glendale Heights , Il is hiring for mechanical assemblers. The company is a major manufacturer of automotive gear boxes. If you're looking for an exciting opportunity with a growing company, and to sharpen your mechanical skills this is the position for you!

Employees will be responsible for performing a variety of subassembly and final assembly operations of units having variable shape and size. They will also be responsible for quality repairs, refurbishment, check-in, and modification of all modular equipment. Employees will perform repairs to install motored gearboxes and all other facets of modular building repair. They will also be responsible for following specific methods and procedures required to make designated assemblies using hand and power tools. Employees will also need to conduct, analyze, and record all testing records. Employees are expected to consistently hit daily production goals Employees must be willing to work overtime and working six days each week. It is a field service tech position that pays for all traveling, lodging and food. Transportation is provided by the company.

The production environment is a large manufacturing facility with a large automotive manufacturer.

Shifts available: It is a traveling position that works anywhere between 40 hours - 70 hours a week. Contract Duration: 90 day Contract to Hire
