Quality Lab Tech*

We have a full-time/part-time opening for a Quality Lab Tech*.

Must be able to work various shifts per week.

We are now hiring candidates with Quality Lab Tech experience for the Bessemer area. This is a great opportunity for a candidate that is looking for a long-term career with a locally owned company. Qualified candidates must be able to work in non-climate controlled environment, stand for long periods of time, perform moderate lifting, pushing, pulling, grasping, bending, stooping, twisting. Job duties and responsibilities vary. Qualified candidates must be able to: gather and process samples, complete sample testing paperwork, communicate with corporate via phone and email about testing, inspect both incoming product and finished goods, and help transition data into the new computer program.Familiar with: LOIL computer program, heated hydration equipment, and equipment used for screening particles. Will be trained on: knowledge of all plant operations and completing required reports.Required: organization skills, good communication, and advanced computer skills.MUST be able to work without direct supervision.
