Warehouse - Picking & Sorting - Full-time / Part-time

We have a full-time/part-time opening for a Warehouse - Picking & Sorting.

Must be able to work various shifts per week.

Automation Personnel Services is looking for qualified candidates for a temp to hire position located in Antioch at a Footwear Warehouse. Pay Rate is $10 / HR.Position Purpose:Receive shipments upon arrival and unload pallets from trucks. Sort shoes by Brand, style, size, and color. Also responsible for making boxes, re-boxing, cleaning, and prepping shoes and accessories for the Listing department. Reconciling discards and accessories. Duties and Responsibilities:- Receives and unloads freight both manually or with equipment such as pallet jacks. - Tag pallets as they are received, with the appropriate PO information - Sort out shoes within the PO s by Brand, style, size, and color onto carts- Re-box shoes if boxes are torn, crushed, ripped, etc. - Clean boxes of dust, and dirt- Clean shoes of dust and dirt, if shoes are too damaged, place them with the discards- Reconcile discards, accessories, etc. - Some data entry, and scanning- Push full carts to staging area for listers to pick up - Ability to meet or exceed company production quotas while still maintaining quality of work - Picking a large number of orders per day using the company picking process - Using scanners when instructed to pick orders - Locate shoes that are not in their correct location by checking overflow and other areas - Keep warehouse bins and work areas clean and organized - Fill in for other warehouse positions as needed - Ability to understand the complete cycle of inventory flow process to perform job effectively - Willingness to seek out resources, improve process, and create efficiencies in the job - Available to work mandatory overtime hours when needed - Making sure final product shipped with Shoe Metro s quality standards. - Shoe boxes must be clean and dust free. If boxes are in bad condition, they need to be removed and/or replaced. Shoes inside must be laid correctly with adequate tissue - Shipping flyer and invoice is laid on top of the shoe box, label and tape is neatly applied.
