Operator B- Grinding

Immediate opening for a Machine Operator(B-Grinding). The primary function is to operate and maintain adjustments of various processes, manual/automated machines and manipulators in the high volume production of quality bearings.Essential duties:Read work instructions for product specifications, dimensions, tolerances and tooling instructions.Turn valves/coolant lines to direct flow of coolant at the work piece.Observe operation of turning machines and verifies conformance of work piece to specifications.Perform work in a systematic manner when possible to insure all steps are carried out in sequence.Read dial indicators and other measuring devices to ensure quality standards are met.Assist Setup personnel during operation by making minor machine adjustments.Record production results on an hourly basis.Perform quality checks and scrap as required.Responsible for all "5-S" and daily housekeeping on a daily basis.Follow and complete daily work assignments as directed by Setup Associate and Section Leader.Train other associates as directed.High school diploma or GED is required: and/or two years of related experience and/or training.Equal Opportunity Employer
