Positions in this function are responsible for monitoring regulatory Claim Operations compliance with State and Federal laws, regulations and mandates.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research and monitor regulatory changes to identify compliance risks within Claim Operations.
  • Monitor performance metrics and collaborate with key stakeholders to develop process improvement solutions.
  • Establish and implement policies, procedures and processes to ensure adherence with State and Federal laws, regulations and mandates.
  • Act as Lead for internal and external audits.
  • Respond to identified compliance issues and develop/ facilitate corrective actions as necessary.
  • Drive completion of required Claim Operations compliance training.
  • Develop open lines of communication with all relevant stakeholders to confirm understanding of compliance and associated risk.

Requirements

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/ GED is required
  • 2+ years claims processing experience in healthcare industry
  • 1+ years leadership experience in claims operations
  • Intermediate experience with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook 

Assets:

  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred
