Position Description:
The Associate Communications Specialist, Quality Assurance will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and distributing communications, including internal and/or external communications, for the Team Care HouseCalls program. Responsible for maintaining policies and procedures and all correspondence relating to new hire training materials and day-to-day process communications.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform communications needs assessments to align with the needs of the business (e.g., surveys, focus groups, interviews).
- Develop communications plans aligned with established business needs and communications strategies (e.g., key messages, target audiences, timeframes).
- Develop communications content, tailored to the specific medium and audience requirements (e.g., emails, staff reminders, talking points, training preparation materials, and appropriate job aids).
- Publish/distribute communications content as needed and ensure proper implementation (e.g., email, newsletters, staff reminders, process alerts, training job aids).
- Solicit support/partnership from internal/external sources to drive effective dissemination of our messages.
- Manage communication projects to monitor/ensure proper implementation (e.g., role assignments, timelines/milestones, issue tracking, deliverables).
- Manage review/revision/approval processes to ensure achievement of communications and business goals/objectives.
- Develop/Manage proactive relationships with internal/external partners in order to facilitate development of effective communications (e.g., messaging, timing, branding).
- Contribute to the development of QA process notification materials, reminders, and training initiatives.
- Support process improvement initiatives by establishing a communication plan to include dissemination of information to internal and external partners.
- Responsible for organization, annual review, and monthly upkeep of Team Care and Quality Team Policies and Procedures. This will include any communication relating to policy changes.
- Partner with internal staff to conduct orientation sessions to assess level of understanding of new hire staff.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED.
- 1+ year of experience of inbound and/or outbound call center or customer service experience.
- 1+ year of experience working with MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook (Word - create correspondence and work within templates PowerPoint - create basic presentation - Excel - data entry, sort/filter/basic formulas. Outlook - mass emails and calendar management).
- Experience writing and editing communications to send to a mass audience.
- Bilingual proficiency in any language and English is preferred.
- Experience working in the Healthcare industry preferred.
