Primary Responsibilities:



  • Performing all types of complex adjustments and closed, denied, and simple adjustments

  • Meeting quality, productivity and attendance requirements

  • Ensuring provider satisfaction through:

  • Maintaining accurate documentation in ORS

  • Providing assistance to providers with status updates

  • Being responsible for any follow-up work needed for resolving and closing issues

  • Identifying and resolving anticipated provider issues to prevent future calls

  • Maintaining proficiency in all technical applications (technical skills and system knowledge)

  • Complying with all current policies, procedures and workflows

  • Finalizing the case review process

  • Issuing review outcome notifications to appropriate parties of the case

  • Serving as a company liaison with clients, reviewers and practitioners/providers/facilities whose services are subject to review.

  • Reviewing pertinent data and facts to identify and solve issues and mitigate risks, prioritize your work load and work on ad hoc projects as assigned.

  • Ideal candidate demonstrates a personal mindfulness practice and shares with others.

  • Must work well independently, demonstrates embodiment of Our United Culture Values, and be willing to drive change through influence, high accountability, and persistence.

  • Proven ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and finding ways to maximize success through strong relationships.

  • Comfortable with speaking to clients, customers, and healthcare providers to coordinate solutions to medical emergencies worldwide.

  • Ability to think outside of the box and restructure tasks quickly when required to meet deadlines

  • Comfortable with making quick decisions which can impact the overall outcome of an emergency situation

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while managing multiple high priorities

  • This team environment operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, requiring individuals willing to work flexible schedules. We are looking for people who enjoy learning and are critical thinkers. You will have the ability to quickly increase your income through our career ladder as knowledge, skills and experience increase.

  • Responsible for providing expertise and customer service support to members, customers, and/or providers.

  • Direct phone-based customer interaction to answer and resolve a wide variety of inquiries.

  • Extensive work experience, possibly in multiple functions.

  • Work does not usually require established procedures.

  • Works independently.

  • Mentors others.

  • Acts as a resource for others.

  • Coordinates others' activities.

Requirements

Requirements:



  • High school education or 10 years equivalent experience.

  • Willing to work in a 24x7 environment

  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Word and Excel

  • 1+ year of Claims, Office or Customer Service experience analyzing and solving customer problems

  • Extended periods of sitting at a computer and use of hands/fingers across keyboard or mouse

  • Office environment
