Our Network Services Department is
looking for a decisive, energetic Provider Service Representative. 
This fast-paced position provides exciting opportunities for professional
growth with a Fortune 100 Company as well as the opportunity to work with
talented team of professionals.  The
hired individual will help the Network Manager with recruiting new providers
and maintaining the current provider network. He/She will help with the
credentialing/re-credentialing process and data maintenance for the provider
network.  He/She will also look for process
improvement opportunities.



 



Primary Responsibilities:



 



  • Help manage
    a network of behavioral health physicians, clinicians and
    facilities/programs.
  • Help to
    identify network gaps and recruiting physicians, clinicians and
    facilities/programs to meet these needs.
  • Acting
    as liaison between providers and Optum to resolve problems that arise.
  • Data
    and report management of contracted providers.
  • Tracking
    of network initiatives.
  • Interaction
    and collaboration with care advocacy centers.
  • Managing
    multiple projects/priorities with short deadlines.


Requirements

Required Qualifications: 



  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • 2+ years of Provider Relations and/or Provider Network experience.
  • Experience with Claims processing and issue resolution.
  • 1+ year of experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
