Time Warner Cable Media Sales currently seeks a National Account Planner. Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.

Essential Job Functions:
Assist with activities between the sales staff, other departments, and our client base, by performing the following duties:
- Works closely with NCC Account Executives and National Sales Management to prepare, execute, manage and follow-up on Agency client avails, proposals and schedules.
o Ask questions to gather all information needed to perform task. This information is provided to the NCC AE from client. Information includes appropriate historical, current budget, demographics, CPP, daypart distribution, points per daypart and other information necessary to fulfill avail/proposal.
o Gathers and provides information necessary for NCC AE to build appropriate avails/proposals
 Programming (including HPO/Sports/News as appropriate)
 NSI Estimates
 Qualitative data
 Cable data and mapping
 Tracks inventory needs for avail
 Hitlisted programming
 Other information as necessary
- Creates pending avail opportunity in E-time (CRM tool) with flight weeks and budgets in CRM tool for NSM to provide weekly tracking and projections and to help manage inventory outlook
- Acts as the liaison between NCC, Inventory, Research, Production, Traffic, DSB and Master Control departments in assisting accounts needs, when necessary
- Communicates directly with NCC and appropriate internal department on schedule changes/cancels, revisions, and/or other circumstances that affect inventory
- Alerts management and NCC on situations needing approval or additional dialogue
- Discusses w/NSM avails and opportunities
1. Key and target accounts and annual test, tune-in w/$100+ Market budget by quarter.
2. Added value, posts and under delivery needs/requests.
- Provide appropriate follow-up for pending avails after 7 days. Emails w/no response require phone call. Phone call w/no response allows discussion with NSM.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload based on sales team ' s needs and internal deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication with internal and external TWC customers on a daily basis.
- Exercises judgment to manage make-goods and pre-emptions for assigned National AE ' s orders on a daily basis to ensure that all revenue is being added back in as quickly as possible.
- Manages schedule development including checking inventory availability and iterative development

Job Requirements:
- Must be proficient in MS Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Experience in software similar to our sales support packages preferred.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively communicate with peers, co-workers, key clients and superiors in written and verbal form; ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor ' s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; 2+ years related agency, broadcast, and/or cable experience preferred.
