Junior Analyst

The Payroll Specialist is a key member of the financial reporting and support team that facilitates the activities associated with the daily business support of our field personnel and Whelan management team. Ideal candidates will be able to balance daily payroll while assisting local managers and schedulers to ensure payroll is correct. Specific responsibilities include:
  • Process weekly payroll and reconcile withholding accounts and bank accounts
  • Update and maintain employees’ deductions and compensations
  • Assist accounting manager and controller in the week-end closing process
  • Schedule SROs on a weekly basis
  • Send out and receive timesheets
  • Maintain TeamTime process
  • Meet with sites to discuss issues or areas of improvement
  • Actively engaged and knowledgeable in Winteam program


Qualifications
Successful candidates should be 21 years of age or older, legally authorized to work in the United States, and possess at least a high school education or equivalent (GED). Candidates must demonstrate a stable work history and pass an extensive background screening which includes, but is not limited to, criminal background checks (local, state, and federal), drug test, aptitude tests, skills assessments, interviews, past employment verification, and a personality profile (behavioral assessment).

We are looking for a friendly team worker who is computer proficient, possesses exceptional written and oral communication skills, and has the ability to multitask and perform well under deadlines.
