The SVP, Finance (Treasurer) will be responsible for directing the organization’s annual budget, forecasts, overseeing investment of funds, managing and limiting risks, analyzing and reporting financial results to external parties, raising capital to support the firm’s expansion, and due diligence oversight for mergers and acquisitions

Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for developing the Company’s annual plans, forecasts, performing periodic reviews and updates.
  • Responsible for the reporting of the company’s financial results to all external parties (i.e. investors, banks, rating agencies) as well as the Board and CEO Team.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with investors, banks, rating agencies and analysts by addressing them proactively and clearly communicating the company’s business strategies and financial results.
  • Gathers business performance data, analyze and compare to previous periods, budget and forecasts and clearly communicate financial results as well as business trends and outcomes.
  • Forecast cash flow positions, related borrowing needs, and available funds for investment.
  • Ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirements.
  • Evaluate hedging instruments to mitigate financial risks related to the interest rates on the company’s borrowings, as well as on its foreign exchange positions.
  • Oversee cash, investments and insurance programs; advises senior management on investments and loans.
  • Manages risk management activities; including company insurance and Worker’s Compensation insurance and program.
  • Oversight and management of Merger and Acquisition due diligence activity, as well as support the analysis required for the Capital Committee to make effective investment decisions.
  • Maintain a system of policies and procedures that impose an adequate level of control over treasury activities.
  • Maintains compliance with all Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) regulations
  • Lead members of the finance team by hiring, training, motivating and providing feedback on performance.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 15+ years’ leadership experience in risk analysis and management, cash flow models, accounting and financial reporting
  • Previous experience working at a publicly traded company, responsible for SOX compliance and SEC reporting
  • Experience leading teams by coaching, motivating and performance management
  • Knowledgeable of, with a clear understanding of derivatives, hedging, investments, bank account management, and internal funds flows.
  • Ability to lead teams by coaching, motivating and performance management
  • Ability to communicate effectively and be highly organized and detailed oriented
