This position is demanding but rewarding as it requires you to be a self-starter with strong leadership and multi-tasking skills as well as to be improvement and deadline driven.

 

Primary Responsibilities:


  • Run reports to follow up with staff to prioritize workload

  • Maintain time and attendance functions

  • Preview outgoing correspondence for content

  • Perform QA function on department work product

  • Review individual and team productivity and quality matrix

  • Act as a resource to staff

  • Assist in decision-making on A&G issues

  • Performance manage individuals for optimal performance

  • Monitor staff and inventory to ensure compliance with procedures and internal regulatory time frames.

Requirements

Requirements:


  • High School Diploma/ GED

  • 2+ years Appeals and Grievance experience. Should have an understanding of the A&G process. Should know what an appeal is.

  • 2+ years experience with Medicare

  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) experience. Word is used for simple document creation and storage. Should be able enter data into Excel and sort/ filter that data as needed for reporting purposes. Outlook is used daily as an email and calendaring tool.

  • 1+ years in a Team Lead and/ or Supervisor role. Should be comfortable giving direction, mentoring and production tracking.

Assets:


  • Claims experience

  • IDT, GPS, iLEAD, or similar system

  • Medicare Part C
