ADULT INSTRUCTOR for a shipment and logistics company based in Columbus, Ohio! This is a (3) months contract assignment. We are screening candidates today!
JOB DETAILS: Work Schedule: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Pay Rate: $35.00 per hour Hours of Work: Approximately 40 hours per week (able to work overtime as needed)
JOB DESCRIPTION & DUTIES: The New Service Provider Trainer will be responsible for training Package Car Driver candidates based on company guidelines. He/She will provide training in a classroom and on-road setting giving an overview of the company's safe work methods and Department of Transportation regulations. Trainer will reinforce the health and safety culture of all employees. Trainer will distribute materials and administer compliance assessments to ensure drivers overall understanding. Meet all of the applicable requirements as specified by the D.O.T. and be Non-CDL or CDL qualified.
QUALIFICATIONS: must be Vehicle Safety Training Audit (VSTA) certified in Space and Visibility defensive driving techniques and Safe Work Methods (SWM) demonstrate a detailed understanding of processes, procedures, and methods; demonstrates a broad knowledge of tools, equipment, and technology; describes and understands the general structure of the operation.; must be flexible to locations and district assignments as needed; occasional weekends as needed and possible overnight stay depending on assignment location
