Manpower is recruiting Field Service Representative (FSR) TRAINEES for a World Class Manufacturer of Heavy Underground Equipment. These positions are full-time career opportunities with competitive compensation packages. Job Duties and Responsibilities As a Field Service Representative (FSR) TRAINEE you will spend up to 9 months participating in hands-on training and learning, being mentored, visiting manufacturing facilities, and earning a full-time role as FSR for a World Class Manufacturer of Heavy Underground Equipment. Upon successful completion of the training program you will be prepared to deliver the highest quality support to your Clients and equipment in the field. FSR will report to the Sales Engineer and has no direct reports. FSR's primary contacts are Clients typically interfacing with electricians and supervisors. FSR has regular contact with warehouse operations to secure parts and the manufacturing facility to obtain technical assistance. Essential FSR Functions and Outcomes *Provides Clients with timely support in the installation of new and rebuilt equipment, insuring Client satisfaction *Provides Clients with technical support in the repair and troubleshooting of both new and rebuilt equipment *Assists Sales Engineer in development of Client specifications as part of creating specific machine proposals *Repairs parts and sells components *Assists Sales Team in meeting territorial sales objectives *Willing to travel to manufacturing locations as needed *FSR is available and willing to live and work near Client sites *Available to provide 24/7 support to Client as needed Key Components/Competencies Preferred educational background is a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering; 2 year Associate of Science Degree in a technical area such as Electrical Engineering Technology, Maintenance and Controls, etc. may be considered. WILLINGNESS TO WORK UNDERGROUND AND PARTICIPATE IN A 6-9 MONTH TECHNICAL TRAINING PROGRAM. Hands-on mechanical electrical aptitude, ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics, Auto CAD preferred. Computer proficiency particularly Word, Excel, SAP, and/or Avenue. High voltage electrical training with 4160/ 3-phase; arc flash training. Training or experience with motor control systems, hydraulics, PLC's, troubleshooting complex systems, pneumatics, and or variable frequency drives.
