Material Handler I - Full-time / Part-time

A oil and gas services company located in Kenedy, Texas is looking for a team of Material Handlers to join their team. You must have a HS diploma or equivalent. Fork lift experience preferred. This position is primarily responsible for the safe and efficient receiving, handling, issuing, inventory and shipping of warehouse materials and containers. The selected individuals will execute various warehouse transactions electronically. Operate forklifts and operate light-duty trucks to and from required/various locations. Requirements and qualifications are as followed: *A minimum of one (1) year of progressively responsible material handling experience preferred. *Experience in the safe loading and unloading of trucks, trailers, and vans required. *Prior forklift experience and hazardous material training is preferred. *Experience in electronic transactions preferred *High School Diploma/GED required *Valid Driver's License required. *Work in a safe manner and correct unsafe acts and conditions. *Maintain a working relationship between Operations, Construction and Supply Chain teams *Interact with preferred carriers and suppliers with a customer service attitude. *Operate light trucks and forklift safely. *Read and/or follow oral instructions to identify materials or containers to be moved. *Load/unload containers, lift materials to 50lb, and identify, label, count, receive, and issue materials containers. *Perform equipment maintenance checks. *Assist internal and external customers in a professional manner. *Execute various warehouse transactions electronically. *Provide internal and external customers as required shipping status reports. *Operate small hand tools. *Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Word *Ability to Read and Extrapolate a Packing Slip Issue Counter Specific Functions *Search for material by description and/or part number. *Issue materials as requested Receiving Specific Function *Accurately identify and receive materials into the warehouse. *Accurately identify non-conforming or damaged material. *Process and/or return non-conforming or damaged material. Shipping Specific Functions Pack and/or ship materials in compliance with DOT regulations Temp to Hire opportunity $15.00 per hour Must be flexible to work between the hours of 6am-7pm
