We are currently hiring for Tig & Mig Welders positions in Rosemount, MN.  This is an excellent opportunity with a premier manufacturer.

 

Tig & Mig Welders

• This position includes welding and fabrication using Mig and Tig Welding.  
• You will use both Mig and Tig processes for stainless steel aluminum and carbon steel.
• Weld repair cracks in tank barrels; fillet weld pits inside tank barrels.
• Replace section of tank shells and outer jackets of tanks.
• Repair or replace frames of trailers.
• Install or repair product handling equipment on trucks and trailers.
• Perform government required tests and inspections on both trucks and tank trailers.

 

Requirements

• Must be able to stand for the duration of your shift
• Must possess knowledge of or have ability to learn cutting and fitting materials using acetylene torch, plasma torch, carbon arc, roller, brake, and other various cutting and fabricating tools
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to learn; self motivated
• Must be able to bend, squat, reach, and twist throughout entire shift
• Must be able to read blue prints
• Must be able to work well with others
• Must be able to work in confined spaces and get through a 16” manhole
• Must be able to take direction from supervisors
• Must have steel toed boots
• Must pass pre employment physical
• Must have Tig and Mig welding experience
• Previous experience working on tankers preferred
• High School Diploma/GED

 

Wage:  $14.00-19.00/hr

Shift:  1st shift
