Responsibilities:

Effectively serve as the project steward managing tasks, resources, schedule, scope, and deliverables (including documentation) to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Manage day to day operational aspects of a project, keeping project team well informed of status/changes/next steps. Identify and mitigate risks to the project’s success while maintaining a clear and level view of the tasks at hand and next steps.

  • Provide hands-on project management: actively create and manage project scope, deliverables, dependencies and outcome for selected project(s) as approved by senior management and key stakeholders to ensure that project deliverables are achieved within the project timeframe;
  • Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope;
  • Ensure project documents are complete, current, signed off, and stored in appropriate locations;
  • Prepare and effectively communicate project status reports to team members, key stakeholders and management (as appropriate), including updates on activities and deliverables, as well as risks and mitigation strategies;
  • Identify resources needed, assign individual responsibilities, and track task completion;
  • Manage project budget (burn rate against project estimate);
  • Keep project team well informed of changes within the project scope with regards to deliverables and the overall project schedule;

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, or related field;
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years digital agency experience in retail or consumer packaged goods preferred;
  • UI/UX &/or Technical experience a plus;
  • Understanding of current digital technical landscape and desire to stay current in industry trends.
  • Self-motivated; self starter; strong leadership and management ability.
  • Strong presentation skills, speaking ability and interpersonal skills.
  • Assertive, creative, team player and proven sense of urgency.
  • Proficiency with computers including in-depth knowledge of Microsoft suite of products, especially MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and a working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, scanning, etc.
  • Prefer having prior experience at a digital agency.
  • Organized, detail oriented, able to track multiple issues simultaneously.
  • Calm under pressure, able to listen to outline of issue and derive best solution.
