Primary Responsibilities:


  • Evaluate system specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility.
  • Analyze
    all aspects of the existing infrastructure and recommend modifications
    that will enhance system reliability, availability, serviceability, and
    scalability.
  • Work with teammates, clients, and other teams to identify and address systems problems.
  • Evaluate new developments and recommend infrastructure modifications.
  • Provide in-depth consultation to application teams on a variety of different applications.
  • Develop and manage business plans to achieve objectives.
  • Solve unique and complex problems with broad impact on the business.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree OR High School Diploma/GED & 5+ years of equivalent experience.
  • Ability to travel to three Data centers in the Las Vegas Valley at least once every week.
  • Clean Driving record.
  • 5+ years of experience Supporting and/or Maintaining Operating systems.
  • 3+ years of experience Writing Technical documentation.
  • 5+ Years of experience with Microsoft Windows Server (Certification highly preferred).
  • 3+ Years of experience with VMware ESXi (Certification highly preferred).

Preferred Qualifications:


  • UNIX experience with concentration in IBM AIX (Certification Highly Preferred).
  • Enterprise-level Storage Systems experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, & Access.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Visio.
  • Healthcare Industry experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree (Highly preferred).
