Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate system specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility.
- Analyze
all aspects of the existing infrastructure and recommend modifications
that will enhance system reliability, availability, serviceability, and
scalability. - Work with teammates, clients, and other teams to identify and address systems problems.
- Evaluate new developments and recommend infrastructure modifications.
- Provide in-depth consultation to application teams on a variety of different applications.
- Develop and manage business plans to achieve objectives.
- Solve unique and complex problems with broad impact on the business.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree OR High School Diploma/GED & 5+ years of equivalent experience.
- Ability to travel to three Data centers in the Las Vegas Valley at least once every week.
- Clean Driving record.
- 5+ years of experience Supporting and/or Maintaining Operating systems.
- 3+ years of experience Writing Technical documentation.
- 5+ Years of experience with Microsoft Windows Server (Certification highly preferred).
- 3+ Years of experience with VMware ESXi (Certification highly preferred).
Preferred Qualifications:
- UNIX experience with concentration in IBM AIX (Certification Highly Preferred).
- Enterprise-level Storage Systems experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, & Access.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Visio.
- Healthcare Industry experience.
- Bachelor's Degree (Highly preferred).
