Spartan is currently hiring 300 Warehouse Associates for long term positions in Hebron, KY for a reputable online retail distribution warehouse.
Warehouse Worker Job Description
The warehouse worker will be responsible for pick/pack and process orders for shipment. Manually move freight, stock, or other materials or perform other general labor. Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Load and unload trucks
- Open and break down case quantities for storage into bin
- Pick products from rack/bin
- Package and shipping
- Operate a Pallet Jack/Walkie (power assisted Pallet Jack) to move pallets
- Use RF Gun to pick and pull items
Job Requirements
- Frequently push, pull, bend, kneel, climb and reach
- Warehouse worker lift up to 50 lbs
- Proof of HS Diploma or GED
- Must be able stand/walk for 10 – 12 hours
- Noise level varies and can be loud
- Must be able to walk 10-15 miles per day
- Temperature may vary between 60 degrees and occasionally exceed 90 degrees
- Very fast pace environment
Ideal Warehouse Worker Candidates
- Relevant experience preferred
- Possess proof of HS Diploma of GED preferred but required for Permanent placement
- Committed to safety at all times
- Excellent attendance
Pay Rate: $11.75 hour
Shift/Hours: 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts available PT and FT available!
