2015 Strategic Internship Program (Graduate)

The Strategic Internship Program (SIP) is an exciting internship program exclusively for current MBA students. Individuals selected for the SIP will be placed on any area within Consumer Banking (CB) and report to high performing managers (selected by Senior CB Leadership). Participants will work on strategic initiatives aligned with Discover’s high-level goals. CB internship areas include:

• Consumer Deposits
• Discover Home Loans
• Discover Home Equity Loans
• Discover Student Loans
• Discover Personal Loans
• Strategy & Analysis
• Discover LEAN
• Banking Operations

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Individuals enrolled in an accredited MBA Program who will have completed their studies by June 2016
• Must have a graduation date between December 2015 – June 2016

• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Intellectual curiosity
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to translate ideas into clear priorities

• Ability to resolve ambiguity and analyze data to surface insights
• Operates as a team player
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Access)
