As a Director, Client Delivery, you will demonstrate your functional competency in project and program management by utilizing your ability to consult with clients and leaders within the business and IT to lead direct reports through the flawless execution of projects for our customers and internal teams.


 


An effective Director, Client Delivery acts as a leader to both internal and external parties across the broad landscape of end to end implementation in delivering our client's sustaining solutions for their business needs which includes:


 


Primary Responsibilities:



• Lead direct reports in their successful execution of all aspects of large-scale business priority projects



• Represent Client Delivery in cross-functional, organization, and enterprise wide initiatives that impact the achievement of department goals



• Focus on onboarding, on-going development and career path strategies which focus on direct reports being able to consistently and effectively perform project management role in a unified manner creating a brand to the internal organization that sets a consistent and repeatable methodology for implementations



• Drive improvement to infrastructure tools and methodology that aide the team in achieving department goals and deliverables



• Drive cross-functional teams toward a disciplined Accountability Model that clearly defines roles, responsibilities and ownership of requirements



• Coach direct reports in delivering program and projects that drive the defined Accountability Model objectives



• Develop and provide support to direct reports to proactively recognize risks and utilize appropriate resources to develop mitigation strategies that minimize customer and operational impact



• Communicate/disseminate critical information to multiple audiences including executive-level as well as coach direct reports on their  ability to perform this competency


 
• Removes barriers to ensure deliverables are met within scope/timeframe/resource constraints



• Inspires change and supports team in driving change through the organization by directly launching effective change management strategies that support direct reports to be change leaders.



• Develop direct reports to effectively solve complex problems, conduct conceptual analysis and develop innovative solutions



• Provide coaching and mentoring that focuses direct reports on the ability to exercise sound judgment within broadly defined practices and policies to select methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining effective solutions to complex issues



• Analyze trends & develop innovative customer-specific solutions in collaboration with cross functional teams, partnering with Solution Designers and Product Engineers as appropriate



• Support and coach direct reports to develop a highly functioning project team and drive the team and business leaders on all initiative phases including achieving clarity on scope and deliverables



• Mentor direct report and help them to build ability to drive and deliver on required analysis to ensure onboarding success



• Actively participate in anticipating customer needs and proactively plan for delivery at the same time developing direct reports to grow this skill



• Teach direct reports strategic tactics for gaining acceptance, then execute on flawless implementation



• Develop direct report's ability to analyze root cause issue, problem solve and provide key recommendations for implementation process improvements



• Ability to take a long term view and initiate change for the future



• Other duties as assigned by management 


 

Requirements

Required Qualifications:



• Bachelors' degree in healthcare, business or related field required



• A minimum of 10 years' experience in leadership and/or project management role



• A minimum of 4 years' experience in direct report people management



• 6+ years of experience in tracking, planning projects, interpreting complex data into recommendations and making data-driven analytical decisions. 



• Demonstrated competency in consulting skills, communicating complex information, and solution development with ability to negotiate most situations.



• Healthcare operations experience



• Demonstrated ability to successfully manage and lead others (direct and/or matrix supervisor experience)



• Leadership ability to influence and drive outcomes without direct authority, engaging team members in a cross-functional virtual environment.



• Demonstrate effective interpersonal, influence, collaboration and listening skills



• Effectively expresses ideas and information in writing and orally to individuals and groups



• Demonstrate decisiveness in resolving business problems, making decisions and identifying priorities



• Effective data analysis and interpretation skills (ability to encompass business analysis deliverables into work)



• Strong operations and organizational understanding  in a matrix environment


 



• Initiative and independence, ability to find a way to get the job done



• Interpersonal skills to influence and spur cultural change, facilitate and enhance performance within a cross-functional environment



• Display a high level of initiative, demonstrate a willingness to experiment, explore the potential in new ideas while understanding the risk to the organization



• Proven success managing large, complex cross-functional initiatives
