Our Private Care company is looking for caring and compassionate caregivers to become a part of our team, and join our mission of providing specialized care in the comfort of our client’s home. Our agency provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, respect and compassion.
The caregiver is responsible for observing clients, reporting these observations and documenting observations and care performed. Job tasks include but are not limited to:
- Companionship/activities
- Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
- Medication reminders
- Transportation/errands/outings
- Assistance with transferring and ambulation, including the use of gait belt, wheelchair, or lifts
- Assistance with grooming and bathing, including showers, baths, and bed bathing
- Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues, brief changes, etc.
- Alzheimer’s, dementia, and Parkinson's care
- Hospice client support/end of life care
Please make sure you meet all of the following requirements before you apply:
- Must be 18 years of age
- High School Graduate or GED recipient
- Must possess a valid driver's license and current auto insurance along with your own reliable vehicle to commute to client's home (and provide transport if necessary).
- Must possess a valid social security card.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds, and be able to safely transfer a client
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
- Ability to care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
- Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and compassionate manner
