Systems Analyst ( Salt Lake or Riverwoods locations)

This position is for a highly motivated Systems Analyst to contribute to the Banking Platform technical leadership team supporting the third party Finacle banking software.
The role will involve working as a team with other Banking Platform members , on-site and offshore, to design, test, and implement solutions, with a broad understanding of the Finacle system architecture. The position requires working with vendors as well as Discover teams in designing architecture changes and implementation of those changes. The role includes participation in technical and business focused project meetings, development of high quality technical documentation, assistance in troubleshooting of application defects/incidents, creative conflict and issue resolution.
The position will require learning several vendor software components and development tools to a proficiency level that enables leadership of other team members and consistency of system designs and other deliverables.

REQUIRED:
Tivoli
Unix/Linux Shell scripting
Websphere Application Server/J2EE app server
Oracle/SQL
Software Development Life Cycle experience (PDP or similar)
Cooperative, team focused attitude
Vendor relations experience
Able to work effectively either independently or be highly-collaborative with peers
Strong leadership experience, interpersonal skills, and motivational skills
Strong writing/communication skills
DESIRED:

BPMN specification
