Village Superintendent

The Village Superintendent is responsible for annual operation and maintenance budget as requested by Village Trustees.

Will assist and supervise the operation of water and waste water treatment plant which includes performing all water and main repairs and maintaining records as required by any Federal or State Agency, The EPA, and the Village Board of Trustees.

Responsible for all maintenance of Village owned parks, streets, roadways, parking areas, storm drainage facilities.

Superintendent will supervise all garbage removal operations including residential, commercial, yard waste, etc.

Successful candidate will be:

A hands on manager with a mechanical background.

Will have a Class 2 wastewater treat certification and a Class B water treatment certification as required by the IEPA.

Will have or willing to acquire a Class B with air brake attachment CDL.
