The Time Warner Cable Corporate office currently seeks a/an Administrator, Applications Support

for our Information Technology Department. Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.
Position Summary

The primary responsibility of the Administrator, Applications Support is to provide ongoing support for the operations and maintenance of applications. Administrator will supports\ the organization by performing question/problem diagnosis, clearly communicating technical solutions in a user-friendly, professional manner, providing one-on-one end-user training as needed; escalating complex end-user problems to the Software Development Team and/or third party vendors.

Essential Job Functions:


- Provide support to ensure enterprise applications are operational, accurate, and effective as currently designed and implemented.

Provides support for incident management, troubleshooting and resolution for application related issues.

- Restoration of Service. This includes investigations of outage cause, business impact, and quick response remediation.

- Ensure the availability of applications or products for end user consistent with Service Level Agreements.

- Monitor applications in production environment through manual and automated means.

- Facilitate deployment of application code enhancements to the production environment.

- Communicate status of application changes and outages.

- Documents all support requests and resolutions; follows up on outstanding issues and prepares regular reports as needed.

- Performs other duties as assigned to ensure a safe, clean and proper operation of IT systems.

- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

- Respond to inquiries from users for assistance in diagnosing production systems operation, data and other systems issues.

- Serve as on-call support as part of a rotation within the Application support team.
Job Requirements:


- Comprehensive knowledge of and competence with complex SQL stored procedures Microsoft SQL Server / Oracle.

- Web based technologies, APIs, HTML , XML, SOAP, Ajax ,JavaScript and jQuery

- Ability to engage with all levels of the organization, both business and IT associates, as well as external vendors

- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Provide off hours support as needed for maintenance and incidents

- Ability to learn, correct and improve existing applications.

- Strong organizational skills.

- Strong communication skills.

- Excellent analytical skills

- Strong ability to work under pressure and time constraints.

Education

Bachelor ' s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent training, education and experience
