BASIC FUNCTION:

To operate molding equipment in order to produce and/or assemble plastic injection molded parts to meet the specification of the customer or the next process while always striving to meet Arkansas Faucet Operations goals in Safety , Quality, Delivery, and Cost.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Operate plastic molding machines as they run plastic production/components/toilet seats.

2. Perform all duties associated with running plastic production. This includes the following items; remove parts from molding machine if required, inspect parts according to quality control instruction sheets, use measuring devises and gages, package parts according to packaging instructions, and assemble sub assemblies according to assembly instructions and standard operating procedures.

3. Maintain production sheets and scrap records as accurately as possible.

4. Verify skid quantities and part identification with material support associate before allowing any production to be removed from the area.

5. Keep production areas as safe and clean as possible.

6. All other duties as assigned by supervisor.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Language Skills:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English. Ability to write simple correspondence.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to add and subtract two-four digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles. The employee is frequently exposed to vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or GED from an accredited school/program

Arkansas WAGE Certifications (Employability or Industrial) preferred but not required

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to successfully past pre-employment drug test and criminal background check.
