About this job
Good organizational skills and an orientation to detail is required.Must possess good general office skills. Ability to communicate well with patients verbally and in writing. Ability to interact with other staff to provide superior service. Must be able to lift 75 pounds and have ability to work in outdoors in inclement weather. This position requires extensive driving. Clean Driving Record Required. Basic Hours will be Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm and on call on rotating weekends. Overtime hours are common and mandatory. Must be flexible with hours worked
.Responsibilities:
-Pick up and Clean Equipment. Bag and tag when applicable.
-Perform minor repairs to equipment.
-Log cleaned/repaired equipment into inventory.
-Transport equipment to UPS, FED EX or other representatives as needed.
-Receive equipment from shipments and log into inventory.
-Check Medicare IVR for patient eligibility.
-Enter patient data into Team DME software or into computer as needed.
-Print out delivery or pick up slips as needed.
-Maintain Universal Precautions when applicable.
-Follow Warehouse Policies and Procedures for the receiving, cleaning,
disinfecting, drying and testing of equipment.
-Follow and Maintain a file of all Operating Manuals and Manufacturer
Guidelines.
-Deliver equipment as order throughout Central, Eastern and Southern KY.
-Assist in set up of Ramps as needed.
-Teach patients and caregivers how to use equipment.
-Perform other duties as assigned.
