Assembler

Manpower is currently hiring an Assembler for one of our clients in Houston, TX! Job Responsibilities: *Assembly Build C300 standard cabinets using defined Standard Work and Customers cabinet definitions as defined in the Total Plant Configurator. *Read drawings and interpret what is required to build. Keep accurate records of assemblies that have been built. Use of hand tools and light power tools to build *Observe fellow employees, contractors, and visitors *Report unsafe behavior * Report work related injuries & near misses the same day they occur. *Participate in finding solutions to quality issues or flow issues. *Sort, store, shine and sustain assigned areas every day *Assist with Custom assembly and Integration activities when required. *Ensure the high quality and continuous improvement of the Series C cabinets being assembled. *Participate in daily stand up meetings, review results, actions and improvement ideas. Requirements: *Follow Safety and Electrostatic Discharge procedures. *Ability to lift 10-15lbs.
