About this job
A leading Food Manufacturing Company seeking motivated Warehouse candidates to join their production team. This is a permanent position with a lot of opportunity for growth. The facility just went through a large expansion and is growing based on increased customer demans.

Duties:
- Primary respoinsbility is to work in a team to ensure product gets packaged and shipped out accurately and on time to customers
- Hang empty bag on bag filler.
- Close bag top and guide bag through heat sealer or sewing head.
- For the packages that are 2.5 pounds up to five pounds, put unformed case in case former. Then put the proper number of bags in formed cases and guide it through case taper.
- Cases or bags, depending on the line, are stacked on pallets at different configurations, depending on the package size. Pallets are to be stacked straight and square.
- Keep area around packaging area and immediate work station clean and free from clutter.
- Monitor the proper placement of the lot number on the package. Report any discrepancies to the Lead Packaging Operator.
- Monitor the quality of the product going into the package. Report any discrepancies to the Lead Packaging Operator.
- Fill out paperwork according to company policy. (i.e. part numbers, dates, etc.)
- Observe and suggest ideas for continuous improvement in the packaging department.
Qualifications:
High attention to detail
Strong work ethic and motivation
Ability to work in a team
Ability to lift 40lbs on a regular basis above waste and head
Prior manufacturing experience in food / grain / or regulated envrionment a plus
