Kiddie Academy of Delran has an excellent opportunity to be our Center Director at our established childcare center. Kiddie Academy of Delran is a leader in Early Childhood Education in the Delran area and continues to set the standard for excellence and innovation.

Our Center is licensed for 180 children, 6 weeks to 12 years, with a private Kindergarten, before and after school care as well as summer camp. The leadership team consists of Owners, Director and Assistant Director. This custom built center is state of the art with 11 classrooms and a full kitchen. This is a wonderful opportunity to join a program with strong parent partnerships and staff.

We are seeking a professional and cheerful Childcare Center Director to manage our skilled educational staff at our school located in Delran NJ. The candidate must be a flexible, enthusiastic and decisive individual who enjoys interacting with children as well as their parents. The position involves working directly alongside the owner, Director of Education, managing 20 plus staff members and actively develop and maintain positive customer and community relations. As the Center Director, you will coach, develop and motivate educational staff and actively develop and maintain positive parent relations. You will maintain high capacity utilization, and ensure the center is compliant with all applicable regulations and standards.


The Successful Candidate for This Opportunity:

This position requires excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills, as well as the ability to provide exceptional customer service with exemplary confidence and strategic thinking. Must meet State requirements and all applicable background checks. NAEYC experience a plus.


Responsibilities will include touring and addressing parent needs, scheduling and staffing; participating in hiring and orientation of new faculty members; assist faculty in development of individual goals for professional growth; curriculum implementation, models positive attitude towards children and professional interactions with parents, record keeping, ensures that the center is run in accordance with the Kiddie Academy's policies and requirements and in compliance with all state licensing standards shares in other duties as required.

*Demonstrated success in a leadership role in the implementation of quality initiatives (e.g. NAEYC accreditation)

Certifications

*A Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (or closely related field) is required, along with a minimum of two years teaching and supervisory experience.

Knowledge of preschool licensing regulations required; credentials to run a licensed preschool in NJ preferred

Salary is $34,000-$38,000/ a year and incentives based on capacity
