UPS agents must report to work on a regular and timely basis. Must be able to load and unload aircraft cargo weighing up to 100 lbs. unassisted within confined cargo areas and push, pull, and position loaded containers into and out of aircraft and in staging area. Must be able to move freely, reach, bend, and twist in confined spaces and cargo hold. Ability to operate standard transmission vehicles in areas congested with aircraft, moving and stationary vehicles and equipment as well as position vehicle up to aircraft requiring depth perception and the ability to distinguish colors red, green, and yellow. Engage in proper specific ground to cockpit communication via voice and hand signals. Ability to read off load sheets to determine destination of cargo. Push and/or pull carts weighing up to 4,000 lbs. to connect them to tractor and/or vehicle and load an aircraft following specific directions ensuring all weights and locations indicated are accurate. Reach, bend, and twist in confined spaces to hand clean, using specified cleaning chemicals and materials while observing all safety precautions. Able to work as a team or work independently without direct supervision.
* Part Time Nights - (Monday - Thursday) Hours 8:30 PM - 11:30 PM
* Part Time Mornings - (Tuesday - Friday) Hours 5:00 AM - 8:00 AM
* Starting wage $9.00 an hour.
Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. Ability to perform these operations using weight measurement, volume, distance, and money. Ability to read, fluently speak, and understand the English language. High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience is required. Must be free of disqualifying crimes and able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
