Job Summary:
Responsible for nurturing new inquiries initiated through Brookdale’s national marketing activities and for advancing existing leads in community Sales Management Systems (SMS), with the objectives of supplying information that leads to increased visits and move-ins to Brookdale communities.

Key responsibilities include:
* Contact new inquiries routed to the Brookdale Solutions Center’s SMS database as a pending lead
* The Call Specialist will determine whether the caller is ready for help to determine one or more communities within a geographic area that might meet their need, or whether the caller is seeking information to support a general need
* Sales-ready leads are transferred within SMS to the identified community, along with complete documentation about the customer’s expressed need in order for the community sales associate to pick-up the personal connection and discovery process mid-stream vs. starting over from the beginning
* Works closely with community sales and operations associates as an extension of their sales team, with direct phone communications to community associates as needed to best prepare them for scheduled appointments
* Establishes awareness and understanding of communities in their assigned division to understand each community’s product lines, services and amenities

* Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university preferred
* One year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
* Customer service and sales experience
