The role of Program Manager requires a highly motivated individual able to effectively build and lead teams as well as act as an individual contributor. The Program Manager has the unique challenge of influencing those not directly accountable to her/him. This role functions as both Program Manager and Business Analyst.

Qualifications

• Acts as consultant to facilitate and support strategic initiatives within student loans to drive business objectives.
• Collaborates with team members across corporate functions such as business development, operations, technology, marketing, finance and risk management to lead and manage project planning, draft project scope, document business requirements, provide project oversight, progress reporting, quality assurance, troubleshooting, communication, and implementation management.
• Monitors performance and recommends schedule changes, cost adjustments or resource additions.
• Oversees and coordinates work performed by internal and external impacted parties.
• Provides timely and accurate information and status updates to project sponsors, end users and management.
• Participates in budget development and evaluates how workplan changes impact costs and schedule.
This position involves the ability to identify and understand complex cross-company student loan issues through reading financial/budget documents, and legislation/federal regulations to evaluate the business and financial implications of such issues as they relate to specific business initiatives. Managers draft and assist in the delivery of presentations and timelines for critical tasks and are knowledgeable about the range of activities throughout the implementation lifecycle. They provide leadership in timely and quality delivery of services. The incumbent has extensive project management and business analysis experience and a developed reputation within the profession.
