Spartan is currently hiring production technicians in the Ames, Iowa area for a major manufacturer.

Job Description:
Performs a variety of manufacturing tasks that generally including assembling, operating manual & automatic equipment, setting up machines, testing, and dismantling unit assemblies according to appropriate work process instructions.

Job Requirements:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. ability to communicate effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

High School Diploma/ GED
Safety aware and willing to submit to a background check and drug screen

Ideal associate:
Relevant experience preferred
Committed to safety at all times
Excellent attendance

Pay Rate: $11.00 per hour
Shifts: 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts available Monday - Friday (Pay varies per shift)
