Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned): Coordinates location's operations and administration in accordance with Company policies, principles, and procedures. Visits top 25 customers (top 20 job sites) and Perform Landscape Quality Audits (LQA's) for top 25 customers (top 20 job sites) to ensure properties are maintained at required standards and ensure customer satisfaction with service levels to foster a positive, long-term relationship. Visits customers with area managers and attends HOA board meetings to support the branch with contract maintenance. Reviews customer accounts to ensure profitability of portfolio in order to meet or exceed all key financial metrics. Partners with sales to provide insight and quotes for sales representatives for maintenance proposals and to maintain a positive and effective relationship with supporting sales staff. Develops succession planning strategies for all positions in branch to develop bench strength and contingency plans. Assists branch manager with forecasting, labor review, and budgets. Make budget recommendations to branch manager. Directs safety strategies in branch to ensure proper safety guidelines are followed, safety meetings are taking place, and safety goals are attained. Develops plans for efficient use of materials, machines, and employees. Supervisory Responsibilities: Manages 1-7 subordinate managers or supervisors who supervise a total of 50-350 employees in operations and office administration. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the unit. Also directly supervises 1-2 non-supervisory employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Ability to present enhancement proposals to customers with the ability to close the sale. Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently. Depending on geographic location, ability to speak Spanish may be required or desired. Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, percent, area and volume. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
