About this job
Aerotek is currently seeking 6 Plastic Engineers for new product launch, on-going production, and a HVAC line at one of largest clients south of Nashville, TN. This facility has 60+ injection mold machines that produces over 200,000 individual plastic parts a day. There has been a significant increase in production which is why they are looking to bring on Plastic Process Engineers. Having a Plastics Degree is strongly preferred, however any kind of engineering degree will work if the candidate has equivalent work experience.
Requirements
- BS in Engineering (Plastic's degree is preferred)
- 5+ years experience in plastic injection molding
- Automotive
- Class A Surfaces
- PLC understanding (troubleshoot, edit)
Job Duties
- Openings on New Product Launch, On-going production, and HVAC
- Mold setup
- Validation of stacks
- Pre-production runs
- Process setup
- Pressure line layout
- Read Blueprints
- Troubleshoot automation equipment
