Kohl’s is currently hiring Area Supervisors!
Responsible for approximately half of the store selling floor. Ensures customer service, merchandising, and visual presentation are maintained to company standards. Participates in the Manager on Duty Program. Effectively handles emergencies and accidents. Prior to store opening, assists with hiring of part-time Associates, leads merchandising teams in setting up the store, directs and teaches new Associates in Kohl’s Best Practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior supervisory experience in sales, customer service and other areas interacting with the public. Ability to work well with Associates at all levels. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and computer basics. Basic math and reading skills and above-average verbal and written communication skills. Must be comfortable walking or standing during entire shift. Able to lift 50 pounds on an occasional to frequent basis. Must be available Sunday-Saturday for 8-hour shifts and open and/or close store as required.
