Description

For NC Mentor and The MENTOR Network, a Therapist is critical to our success and exemplifies the wonderful mission driven work we do here every day.

NC Mentor is seeking a Therapist to provide counseling to individuals and/or families using multiple forms of therapeutic approaches, including psycho-educational models and medical/illness models of assessment and diagnosis. The Therapist works with individuals and/or families to address such issues such as depression, addiction and substance abuse, stress, and problems with self-esteem. This role may also help with job and vocational concerns or parenting.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in human services field required
  • Child Mental Health experience required
  • Clinical license in the State of North Carolina (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LPA, LCASA)
  • Ability to travel along with valid drivers license and reliable transportation are required
