Description

Every person needs the support of others, but we look for very special people to support individuals with intellectual disabilities, brain injury and other complex needs. As a Behavioral Analystwith REM Minnesota you’ll be one of those special people.

REM Minnesota is seeking a Behavioral Analyst to develop behavioral plans and provide behavioral therapy and other therapeutic services to participants. The Behavioral Analyst works directly with the regional teams to observe and understand the situation, develop behavioral plans and provide training to team members. The position requires routine travel throughout the designated regions in Southern Minnesota and requires working while the people being served are in the environment.

This position will be located in the Southern Minnesota area. Specific location may be flexible. Relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst or Board Certified Associate Behavior Analyst is preferred, however equivalent education/work experience will be considered
  • Minimum one year experience working with special populations in crisis intervention and staff training
  • Experience with development and conduct of research in behavior analysis with in an applied setting preferred
  • Knowledge and understanding of applicable federal and state regulations
  • Demonstrated ability in areas of leadership, employee training and public relations
  • Skilled in written and oral communications and service development
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of behavior management principles, program development and monitoring techniques
  • Eligible as determined by the Minnesota Department of Human Services and The Network's compliance plan
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record
