O’Reilly Auto Parts is looking for experienced Night Route Drivers to deliver parts to our retail stores.

What are we looking for?

• Experienced dedicated professionals (minimum 1 year route driving exp. required)
• Safety conscious truck drivers (Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement required)
• Clean driving record
• A desire to work hard and service our customers

GENERAL SUMMARY:

• To operate a commercial truck in our company fleet and provide safe, timely, and quality deliveries.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and DOT regulations in execution of duties.
• Drivers will perform a pre-trip and post-trip inspection as outlined in section 392.7 of the Federal Motor Carrier Regulations.
• Driver will be required to fill out trip sheets and daily drivers logs (including recap section) as instructed in part 395 of the Federal Motor Carrier Regulations.
• All merchandise on the truck will be delivered to the proper location according to the freight bill.
• Team members with experience may be designated as trainers. As a trainer, take ownership of the Distribution Center target training program ensuring that all training is conducted according to schedule, and that all documentation is complete.
• Trainers are responsible to explain specific job duties/functions to help ensure success of new team members, as well as to convey any departmental or procedural changes to existing team members.
• Other duties as assigned by the Distribution Center management team.

Work schedule: Nights, 12PM-8AM

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Registration driving record at all times.
• Must maintain valid Department Of Transportation physical status.
• Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
• Current class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Pass random drug and alcohol testing.
• Must be able to read and match numerical and alpha characters quickly and accurately.
• One year driving experience
• Clean driving record

DESIRED:

• Knowledge in Department Of Transportation regulations, logbook, and vehicle inspections.
• Electric pallet jack experience.
• Mechanical abilities.
