Company Overview:
JCPenney portraits is operated by Lifetouch Portrait Studios. Lifetouch Portrait Studios operates over 700 portrait studios, including locations in many JCPenney stores. Our photographers are trained on unique posing, lighting techniques and portrait designs to fit the whole family and tell every customer’s unique story. We specialize in capturing images of newborns, toddlers, siblings and entire families.

We at Target Portrait Studios are seeking a leader to help manage a studio business and its photography team. You’ve never used professional camera equipment before? We’ll teach you what you need to know: photography, sales, recruiting, training and developing your team.

Qualifications Include:

High school diploma or GED equivalent

A minimum of one to five years of experience working in a retail, photographic or service industry

Ability to work a varied schedule including days, nights, holidays and weekends, as needed.

Sales and customer service skills.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.

Ability to quickly develop a good rapport with children and adults, and your team.

Able to manage multiple priorities and cope with change

Basic computer skills (e.g., navigation, data entry) (specifically Microsoft Excel).

Basic math skills.

Detail oriented in the execution and follow-up of work.

Able to meet the physical requirements of the job (e.g. lift up to 40 pounds).

Experience Preferred:

Supervisory experience.

Ability to speak and write Spanish fluently in some markets.
