About this job
This is an entry level position in our turning department. The employee will be turning stainless steel rounds/flanges on large manual lathes.
Looking for someone that has a very good attitude and is a team player.
Ideally we want to find someone with 1-5 years experience in the machining field (cnc or manual). Schooling can be included in this experience level.
The company is willing to train someone of any skill level as long as they have some experience in a shop and bring an excellent attitude and ability to learn.
*** Every candidate must take testing (measuring and math).
Main job responsibilities:
- Setting up and operating large manual lathe
- Loading and unloading products and materials
- Read and understand blue prints
- Needs to be easily teachable and a "team player"
- At cigas the employees work in a team setting and are cross trained on different machinery
