About this job

Candidates must be able to work independently off blue prints and work orders. The majority of their work is fastening and assembling metal parts of laundry systems. They will be assembling component pieces as well as fabrication pieces to spec and must be flexible to help out where needed in other parts of the shop (general clean-up, taking out the trash, sweeping, material handling).

Main respnsibilities include:
-Assemble components and fabricated parts to spec
-ASsemble parts using blue prints and work orders


Must also be open to:
-Assist in loading orders on trucks/couriers (or hand them to will call customers), and attach appropriate packing slip.
-Receive incoming stock from vendors, examine for quality issues, mark with company part number, and put it on the shelves or get ready for immediate shipment.
-Physical inventory - cycle counting in delegated section.
-Organize and clean warehouse and other areas, as specified. Alternate cleaning the warehouse three days a week, collecting garbage each Friday and other areas as needed.
